Jan Ellis Attorneys can assist you with your case against the Road Accident Fund (RAF). We are prepared to handle claims against the RAF on a no success, no fee contingency basis, but it depends on the merits.
You have a compulsory insurance policy that provides you with cover if you are injured in a road accident for which you are not to blame.
The following persons will be able to claim:
- A person who was personally injured including a claimant under the age of 18 years, provided he is assisted by a parent or legal guardian or court appointed curator ad litem. This excludes a driver whose negligence was the sole cause of the accident.
- A dependent (spouse or child) of a deceased victim.
- A representative of the estate of a deceased or a close relation in respect of funeral expenses.
