Attorney-client privilege is a legal privilege that enables attorneys to keep their communications with their clients secret.
When you speak with an attorney about a legal matter, your communications with that attorney are privileged. This means that subject to some very limited exceptions,
and unless you grant permission, your attorney can’t disclose to a third party any information that you provided.
Privileged communications cannot be used by your opposing legal team in the pre-trial discovery process or as evidence in a trial, unless you waives your right to the privilege.
